A new free iPhone app for London commuters was released last Wednesday. It will mostly be of interest to those who use public transport but also gives walking directions and shows Boris bike stations.
Have a look below for the description and the link to Apple’s website where you can download it.
“Travel London is a live travel app, covering over 19,000 bus stops, 300 tube stations/line and 420 Barclays Bike docking stations, to provide you with up to date departures and travel information all in one place.”
Its features include, for instance: “Find Your Closest Stop”, “See The Bigger Picture” (allows you to see the entire bus route on the mini map), “Find Your Way” (gives you walking directions to the stop of your choice), and more.
I’d be curious to know if anyone has tried it and what they thought of it – please feel free to leave a comment below if you have!
