A talk on the risks and benefits of walking and cycling: 28th January 2013

ucl-logoInterested in finding out more about the risks and benefits of walking and cycling? Here is the blurb from Green UCL which is hosting a talk on 28th January on the topic as part of the Environmental Sustainability Topic Lunch Series:
Cyclists killed on the roads make the headlines but is cycling really that dangerous?  How does it compare with other risks we take, such as turning off a motorway onto a local road? What are the risks of driving? And what about the risks we impose on others when we travel? This presentation will address these questions, using data from England.
